Welcome to Engine Dynamics

In the early 1990's Craig Hyland's Engine Dynamics was started as a business operating from his home, from those early years the business has grown into one of New Zealand's leading race parts and engine building shops, now based in a state of the art facility at Ardmore Airport in Auckland.

Craig has been building leading Race Engines over the past 23 years, first honing his skills on Dirt Saloons, Sprintcars, Rally & Offshore Powerboat Engines. Craig spent 13 years building, maintaining and as crew chief on Sprintcars being involved in winning eight New Zealand titles in that time. Since then he has been involved in all types of Race and Performance Engines for Dirt, Gravel, Asphalt, Water and Sky. Craig has been heavily involved in Jetsprinting and Offshore Powerboat Racing in more recent times, but continues to support his original passion, building Dirt Modified and Sprintcars.

He has been involved in development of everything from a world champ winning seagull outboard to the design and build of a centrifugally supercharged 1250 hp 427 Alcohol Small Block Chev for Jetsprinting. With several New Zealand and World Titles under his belt Craig prides himself in building very reliable, powerful engines that will put you in the winning circle.
